Comtrac wins national innovation honour at the Telstra Best of Business awards

Last night, we were announced as a national winner at the 2025 Telstra Best of Business Awards Gala Dinner. Winning in the Embracing Innovation category was an incredible honour, recognising our AI-enhanced digital investigation and digital brief of evidence platform as an Australian changemaker for its contribution to problem-solving, efficiency, advancement and accessibility through innovative technology.

I founded Comtrac after my years in policing because I saw firsthand how slow and manual investigative work and the creation of briefs of evidence had become. I am now proud to say that Comtrac is an award-winning, comprehensive software platform built with secure and responsible AI to support investigative work. It automates evidence analysis and produces court-ready briefs of evidence and time-sensitive, complex court applications, transforming the way law enforcement, regulatory agencies and the public sector conduct investigations.

By streamlining investigative workflows, Comtrac reduces months of manual work to days, freeing frontline capacity and enabling faster, more effective responses to community needs.

Being named the national winner of the Telstra Best of Business Award in the Embracing Innovation category is a powerful recognition of our work, and positions Comtrac as a national leader in developing technology-driven solutions to the challenges faced by modern Australia.

It is incredibly exciting to receive this national acknowledgement of the difference we are making in uncovering truth and delivering justice.
